Insurance coverage

Hamel Janitorial carries general liability insurance appropriate for commercial cleaning operations in the state of Minnesota. A certificate of insurance is included with every written quote, at no cost and without having to request it separately. If your facility requires additional insured status on the certificate, that can be arranged before service begins.

Bonding

We are bonded. A commercial cleaning bond provides financial protection in the event of property loss or theft by a crew member during service. The bond is maintained continuously and renewed annually. Bond documentation is available on request alongside the certificate of insurance.

Workers' compensation

All employees who enter client facilities are covered under workers' compensation insurance as required by Minnesota law. This protects client facilities from liability in the event of a crew injury on-site.

We have operated in the west Twin Cities metro for 22 years. That track record is the most practical indicator of operational stability: contractors with insurance claims problems, bonding gaps, or workforce reliability issues do not stay in business in a market this size for two decades. Our client relationships are multi-year by design — we do not take accounts we cannot service reliably.

What this means for your facility

A contractor without adequate insurance creates direct liability exposure for the property owner or manager if a crew member is injured on-site or if property is damaged during cleaning. Requesting a certificate of insurance from any contractor before they begin work is standard commercial practice, and we provide it without being asked.
